DZT now offers the opportunity for you to complete the live fire qualification portion of a Rhode Island license. This does not guarantee that you will receive a Rhode Island resident or nonresident license when you apply, but it will better your chances.
We will also supply you with the application and all necessary paperwork and help guide you through the process.
This live fire qualification session consists of shooting an Army-L target at 25 yards. You will have 30 rounds to score a 195 or better. After obtaining your license, Rhode Island will allow you to carry whatever caliber you qualify with, as the maximum caliber you can carry. We recommend you qualify with a large caliber.
We will provide the range time, army L targets, hearing/eye protection if needed.
We will provide a copy of the RI application as well as affidavit form.
