Get a license to carry a firearm in 31 states! The Utah CCW Class will qualify you to receive a Utah nonresident firearms license. NRA Home Firearms Safety and NRA Basic Pistol courses fulfill the Massachusetts State Police LTC Basic Firearms Safety Course Requirement Certification LTC-007 or LTC-002 for FID Cards and LTC’s. You will receive the Massachusetts State Police Certificate needed for the application process and an NRA Certificate, both suitable for framing.

Range lessons are designed to fit your personal firearm needs. Sometimes its just an hour to go over how to care for your new gun, or to find out how to get those groups a little smaller. This class can also be used to test out a firearm prior to purchase, a recently purchased firearms or for more advanced lessons. Maybe you are interested in trying several different types of our firearms to get a feel for what you are comfortable with before a purchase is made. These range lessons will give you the individual time with one of our instructors at a range, to work on your firearms goals and needs.

This class is designed for the absolute first time shooter and is a perfect place to start if you have never shot before or maybe just haven’t shot in a while and want to start at Step 1. While maintaining a calm and relaxing atmosphere, we start you from the beginning! You’ll learn how a gun works, features and controls, why it reacts the way it does when being fired and of course how to handle it safely.

You do not need a firearms license, firearm(s) or have any previous training or experience to attend this 1.5 hour class. We will provide you with all necessary gear including a variety of firearms to try, along with eye/ear protection.

This 2 hour class is designed for those who already have experience with firearms and want to take themselves to the next level! Handgun Basics is the next step from our new shooter course and is a great place to start if you’ve decided to tighten those groups for sport shooting or you want to start carrying a firearm for personal protection. Pistol/Revolver Basics 102 will teach you the confidence and control with special focus on the following:

Safety, grip, sight, stance, trigger manipulation
Overall accuracy
Malfunction
Introduction to the holster
Introduction to firearms and personal protection

The cost for this class is ONLY $125 per person as part of a group. It is $149 for one on one private with you and an instructor.

Introduction to Tactical Handgun 103
Students will receive a certificate for this class

Tactical handgun is an absolute must if you carry a handgun for personal protection. What would you do if faced with a life or death situation? Prepare yourself. Tactical handgun 103 is more than how to shoot from lying on the ground or swapping mags at lightning speed. It’s about survival. From shooting on the move to the effects of stress, this introductory class will help you to build a strong foundation for your quest to firearms confidence. With special focus on the following:

Mastering the holster
One handed and offhand shooting
Shooting under stress
Shooting on the move
Shooting from and using cover

The cost of this 3 hour class is $149 per person as part of a group and $175 if it is a one on one private with you and an instructor.

This class is for the individual thinking about incorporating a shotgun into their home defense plan.
Topics include: Choosing a shotgun and ammo combo,limitations/strengths, ergonomics, value, accessories, chokes, ammo, patterning, legalities, training and implementation in a defensive role.

The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) is the governing body of a shooting sport that simulates self-defense scenarios and real life encounters. It was founded in 1996 as a response to the desires of shooters worldwide. This class will be held at the Worcester Pistol & Rifle Club. Participants will be provided with a strong foundation of skills and knowledge used in the sport of International Defensive Pistol competition.
Participants are required to have the following:

Centerfire revolver or semi-automatic handgun, 9mm or larger
A plastic or leather strong side belt mounted holster. Avoid retention straps and snaps

Our Defensive Knife Training Course was developed with martial arts and law enforcement hands-on training which progresses from stances, grips and cutting drills. The techniques are all very simple, easy to learn and remember, with effective results by using the Spyderco Delica Wave blade configuration. The techniques taught in this course are intended to incapacitate the attacker instantly, allowing you the opportunity to escape.
